Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel that it's very enriching to travel and visit places as a visitor instead of as a tourist; I believe that as a visitor you get to really know the culture of each place by talking to the local people, learning from them and exchanging points of view. I think this is a good way to accept other insterest and to grow up our tolerance towards others.

Siento que viajar y conocer un sitio como un visitante y no como un turista es mucho más enriquecedor. Creo que como un viajero se puede realmente conocer la cultura de cada lugar, hablando con la gente local, aprendiendo de ellos e intercambiando experiencias. Pienso que esta es una buena manera de aceptar otros intereses y hacer crecer nuestra tolerancia hacia los demas.
