About Me

I am a 27 year old girl, a year ago I am out of my country, but in Chile I lived with my mother. My parents are divorced and I do not have siblings but I do have pets. Two cats that I love and now 3 dogs. With my parents I have an excellent relationship.

I studied sociology and worked a little over two years as a sociologist in a marketing research company until I got bored and decided to travel and get to know the world.

I love to meet new places, people and things but most of all I love to learn new things everyday.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, as I said before, I worked a little more than two years in a marketing research company practicing my profession as a sociologist but I always had the curiosity of travel. When I decided to go out of Chile I was 26 years old so in that moment I thought that I was young enough to do something like this, I mean, with age, new responsibilities and commitments appear and maybe the energy is not the same that I have now to go on an adventure alone.

So that's why I'm on Couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

About books and movies, my tastes depend a lot on my mood, however, obviously of both I have my preferences.
I like a lot genders like rock or indie, especially in English.
For example some of my favorites bands that I have in my playlist are The Smiths, Oasis, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Strokes, Coldplay, Incubus, Milky Chance, Kakkmaddafakka, Empire of the Sun, etc.

About films, some days I can see a silly movie but some others I need something that makes me think. Anyway I discovered that there Regarding books and movies, my tastes depend a lot on my mood.

Anyway, I discovered that many of my favorite movies are from certain directors, like Luc Besson, David Fincher or Quentin Tarantino. Maybe my favorite movie is "The Fifth Element" or "Dracula" by Francis Ford Coppola. What actors are in a movie also influences a lot, to determine if I like that movie or not.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think I've never done anything very amazing that I can tell. Until now the most amazing or exciting thing has been to leave my life in Chile, the routine and stability for risking me to go on an adventure, in a country far away, with a language I do not know and being alone. And despite all of the above, having found a job, a bicycle, a place to live has been quite amazing at least for myself.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, England, France, Germany, Netherlands, Peru, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In
