Music, Movies, and Books

musically speaking ~ i seem to gravitate towards mildly melancholic music like ben howard, kings of leon, patrick watson, radiohead, alt j, the heavy, hiatus koyote, pink floyd, leonard cohen, marlon williams,
but also love folksy stuff and blues and most things that make you want to groove out. ( edward sharpe and the magnetic zeros, paolo nutini, nina simone, talking heads, tash sultana, timber timbre, the dead brothers, alabama shakes....) gyspy music!

books i love weirdly written books that stimulate imagination. and horrors (stephen king, neil gaiman, margaret atwood) and true stories of amazing people from different cultures (shantaram... )

films i watch so many films but they must be good. mostly art house and cult classics~ fantastic planet, la belle verte, amelie, the intouchables, the city of lost children, the delicatessen, swiss army man, the fountain, beetlejuice, boy, hunting for the wilder people, pans labyrinth, the guard.... wish i knew directors names more as its the best way to follow film

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

learning to ride a motorbike in india, driving through mud and snow up a mountain pass with incredible views! jumping out of a plane at 14ooooft eeeeep
