About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finding out about myself and the world through art and theory :)

ABOUT ME

I'm a very warm person, most definitely. I'm normally outgoing and talkative, specially with strangers and in places I've never been. Maybe in the places I go everyday I give away the opposite impression :) But I like different, I like random, I like unlikely, unusual... The best for me is to be surprised, to have unexpected things and encounters happen, to have my expectations and assumptions proved wrong... Spontaneity, last minute adventurous ideas... Not that it happens to me all the time, but it's what I hope for specially when I'm traveling.

I think I'm a bit of an idealist and I speak my mind. I'm very transparent, so if I'm unhappy you'll know even if you'd rather not, but you can also be sure that the feelings I express are very true. When I'm couch surfing there's not much to worry about, I like pretty much everything and I adapt to anything, provided people's energies are good. If you come to mine, you might see me stressing at daily things and having some ups and downs, but no worries for you either.

It depends a lot on what will be going on in my life and how well we get along, but generally, it's a great pleasure for me to show people a good time wherever I'm living, make them comfortable at mine and be useful in whatever way I can. I also love feeding guests :) again depending on my availability though.

That was me trying to think of what might be useful to know for people hosting me and surfing my couch, there's probably things that you would find more relevant than that. Oh, I'm really tidy (even if I'm there for a week everything I own will stay in my closed small bag), I don't leave a single dirty fork behind and I clean up a bit around the house if I can.

Basically, I'm up for everything and I have a lot of sense of humor!

PHILOSOPHY

Basic stuff like treat others like you wish to be treated, what goes around comes around, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, everybody's got something to teach.

I personally try to see everything in different ways. Whenever I have a strong opinion, I think of the exact opposite of that and the reasons why it's also true... it's scary how much it works! But it gives me a nice perspective on the notion of truth and reality and specially it gives the grounds for tolerance above all.
I also love purposely and deliberately feeling admired and astonished at the most simple, daily, banal, things of my life. Looking at things like I'm seeing them for the first time. Not taking anything for granted.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy hosting, but whenever I can't I try to give whatever tips I can (I've suggested other friends to people, that weren't even inscribed on couchsurfing) and offer to meet up if possible. I also contact couchsurfers when I don't need a place to stay, just to meet a local and chat.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Wonderful! :) Seriously, it changed my life!! I met amazing people and had unforgettable moments, I believe more in man kind and in good will than ever! Best invention ever!
