ABOUT ME

I think of myself as being a quiet tolerant and curious human being. I try not to judge people from their lookings. I consider, that one of the most important things in the world is always to remember to give and not only take. And smile!

Currently I am living in the centre of Aarhus with my lovely roomie and our spoiled cat Ellie. I enjoy spending most of the day outside and pretty much always end up having people over for dinner. I love cooking and arranging spontaneous events that includes loud music. Also I like to compare people with animals and having deep conversations about which things from Harry Potter would make our every day much more easier.

Studying Business Communication with german as the main language, I have a lot of spare time - or I arrange for myself to have a lot of spare time (which is basically 24/7)... I love to ride my bike ("the yellow lightning"), rowing and doing sports with friends. Besides reading, good movies and drinking coffee, I like taking my camera for a walk. Aaand I enjoy having a beer or a hundred. And red wine.

Someday I want to live on an Island somewhere in Scandinavia, with cats and Huskies, a big vegetable patch and a wooden sailboat. And I want my parents to live forever.

I have a big passion for music. Basically the only genre I find difficult to tolerate is scream core and rap that contains oppression of certain people. I listen to pretty much everything, mostly depending on my mood. Of course I have some favorites, which includes minimal electro, deep house, folk, roots reggae, 50s jazz, balkan, any type of hindi and the whole woodstock generation. And traditional music from all over the world.

I actually dont watch as many movies as I would like to. When watching something, I nearly always end up watching some documentary, cooking program or a tv-show. But I am a big fan of movies directed by Stanley Kubrick, everything about the War in Vietnam, Dogme movies, danish movies, Bollywood, Disney and movies including Huskies (yes, the dogs). And I love Mad Men and in case of sickness (or the usual sunday hangover) I love watching a million episodes of a tv-show in a row.

Of books I prefer non-fiction, but I like to read Paul Auster, Hermann Hesse and I love all the children books Astrid Lindgren has ever written.
