Hi! I'm a student on my year abroad in China, studying Chinese language at Beijing Normal University. Originally from Denmark, I moved to London last year to start my undergraduate studies in Chinese and Economics at SOAS, University of London. I entertain myself by reading (previously inhaled fiction, now mostly non-fiction), I express myself by singing (took singing lessons for 6 years, sang in a choir for 5 years, and have acted in several musicals), I exercise by swimming (decent) and playing tennis (basic), and I broaden my horizons by traveling (although I've only seen an inch of the world so far it feels).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking for people to explore Beijing with. I'd also love to find a Chinese language partner (either a fellow learner who wants to practice, or I Chinese native who wants to exchange Chinese for English!). I'm looking for a good choir to join here, so I hope to also acquaint myself with a few music interested people!
