About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Try to be happy and at peace with myself, while finding my way in this world without forgetting what and who is really important to me.

ABOUT ME

I am...changing a lot. This is a transition phase and I don't really know what my next steps will be, but I will figure it out. But no worries, I am not crazy, not in a bad way anyway!
I am friendly, sociable, but I also like to take it easy sometimes. I enjoy meeting new people, even though I haven't done much of that lately, and I can't wait to start again, I need it!
I am in for deep conversations, especially if the counterpart really listens like I always try to do. That's because I am extremely curious, throw any information at me and I will absorb it like a sponge!
I like unique. I am creative, also in the kitchen (nobody died till now).
I am extremely empatic, I guess I am the right person to share your troubles with.
I like reading and now I am trying to be regular with the gym and healthy eating, but I am still a total foodie. Forgive me, I am Italian after all, and food is life!
I am not a disco girl, but take me to a bar, a cafe, a volleyball court or an arcade and you will see my silly side :D
I came back to Sardinia only this year, so I am close to family and friends.

PHILOSOPHY

there could be just one philosophy of how to live your life? I think that's all a matter of balanced choices: stupid and intelligent choises, impulsive and pondered ones, funny and sad, wrong and right...I am in the middle: head on the clouds and feet on the ground :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because Couchsurfing reflects what is good about humanity. When I talk about it so many people don't understand how somebody could host a stranger...for free!! Well, I do (even though unfortunately I am not able to host anybody at the moment, but I hope that will change in the future).
Also, I study tourism, and this is the kind of tourism I like, honest, and about as authentic as it can get!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I have to be honest here...I don't have a great ear for it. I like what I like, depends on the song and I don't like any particular genre because the music is only the mean for my imagination.

Movies: I enjoy a good movie, with a deep and controversial plot, from a true story or also a silly comedy (not too silly). I also enjoy action and animation. Horror is a big no, no. I am not that into thrillers as well.
To be more precise some examples: the gladiator, Music of the Heart, The Notebook, Harry Potter, Disney movies, Ghibli movies, The Accountant, Burlesque, The Lady, G.I. Jane, Fast and Furious, The Greatest Showman (God how much I love this one)...

Books: I don't read as much as I would like, but...I like classics, especially in original language: Around the world in 80 days, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, Frankenstein, Dracula, Robison Crusoe, Robin Hood, The Alchemist etc. but also Gone with the Wind, Lolita, Harry Potter, Les Miserables, Othello, Hunger Games, Novecento, Sherlock Holmes, Beautiful Bastard, Sandokan the Tigers of Mompracem, Pablo Neruda and Alda Merini's poems, Gone with the wind...

As you can see I am very open to any genre, I don't like to put limits on what I might like or not.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I cosplayed in Hakihabara, the manga's district in Tokyo;
- I drove a hang glider in Rio;
- I camped in a desert in Brasil, Lencois Maranhenses
- Hiked 6 days in the Jungle of Guatemala to reach a Mayan city still being excavated, el Mirador
- Hiked in the inland of Sardinia and the coast
- I dived in a lake surrounded by vulcans in Panajachel, Guatemala
