Overview
About Me
Hey there!! My name is Camille, and I am currently on a 1-2 year trip around South America & Europe. Alternating between volunteering (workaway) and backpacking. I used to live in San Francisco and decided to quit my job in tech consulting to travel and volunteer/work with horses, big passion of mine. I was born in Bergamo, Italy; I have lived in France, Nigeria, Italy, Argentina, and the US. I grew up in Texas and moved to California June of 2015. My mom is Italian, and my dad is half Corsican, half Dutch. I speak fluent/native Italian and English, proficient French and intermediate/advanced Spanish. I love adventures!! nature, music, animals, beaches, learning about different lifestyles and cultures, and people. I really love people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am Couchsurfing, because I would love to meet some locals or residents while I am traveling who can show me around or give some good suggestions that tour books don't provide. I am very independent, and can enjoy traveling by myself, but I love good company! I would also like to practice my Spanish.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: A passion of mine. All over the place. Bossa Nova, reggae, classical, rock, Arabic, Jazz. But my heart is with soul, funk, Motown, disco. I love the oldies, and the songs that make you get up and dance.
Books (mostly classics): The Count of Monte Cristo, the Woman in White, Brideshead Revisited, The Age of Innocence.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
