Former student looking for an active life, but too busy by travelling, I'm passionate about many subjects of society, without having fixed ideas. I seek through my travels to surprise myself, and to refine my knowledge. I think I am very curious, who likes to enjoy life, and good food ;)

If you come to visit my hometown, I will welcome you with great pleasure, but I am rarely there. You can always let me know when you are coming! I don't expect any particular message, but for security reasons, I prefer complete profiles :)

I would say that I’m someone very “flexible”, I can go to party, play board game, or even just drink an infusion while talking. It’s alright!

I'm passionate about life, so I'm kind of an activist and I spend a lot of time for my work (in economics and agriculture policies) or my commitments to try to ensure a liveable world for the next (or our ?!) generations. But don't think I'm a pessimist, in fact, maybe a bit naive, but I'm a very enthusiastic person.
Oh and I play violin, I stopped for 5 years, but I'm starting again, and I'd be happy to make you dance on some rhythms

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I use Couchsurfing since I’m more curious to know the culture (and people) than the city/country. And really, I've met people that I will never forget.

I like to say that in the world there is no stranger, but only people that I don’t know. I think meeting people makes me more confident and also I learn a lot about myself. It's a big part of the game isn't it? Being able to learn, even about yourself... :)

Also, I really appreciate this network which create an opportunity to travel to everybody, regardless of his social category.

Music, Movies, and Books

Apart from French rap, I'm quite eclectic in musical styles, from dub to afro to reggaeton to electro.

But I have no moovie knowledge - don't expect to get a list for your next Netflix evening :) I can only say that I love Amélie Poulain: whether it's the music or the film, I may be falling into the French stereotype but this film is a true work of art.

But readings are often in the themes of my studies (ecology, music, social right), sometimes political or engaged but I'm trying to get back into less specific books. So the last one I read "La Horde du Contre Vent" clearly gave me chills, but it's only in French.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to the BOOM festival last summer (Portugal) without knowing what kind of music it was (and it was Psy trance music) 😅 I finally loved it and keep crazy memories of this experience
