I'm currently studying at Simon Fraser University to obtain my BC teaching certificate. I am spending a semester abroad (at the Université François-Rabelais, in Tours) to specialize in teaching French as a second language.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing to meet new and interesting people during my travels in Europe.

I don't have any previous experience with couch surfing, but I have only heard positive things. I think it would be a great way to meet people and to discover a new city.

Interests

I love food and I'm always open to trying new things. My current food obsession is sushi.
I love getting to know people, although I can sometimes come off as shy. I'm very open to learning about new cultures, different points of view and finding out about others' experiences (and how they became who they are now).
I am very interested in psychology and the way that people think and process things. It's so interesting to see how we are all so different yet so similar.

Music, Movies, and Books

Harry Potter is probably my favourite series. I've re-read them too many times to count, and each time I get something new out of them.
I'm starting to get into documentaries and non-fiction. I loved Lena Dunham's autobiography.
I love all sorts of music, although country music is my current favourite. I'm a big fan of Keith Urban and Tim McGraw.
