About Me
Hello!
My name is Camille, I´m a frenchwoman who lives in a nice little german town.
I like to travel and dicover new cultures and new countries.
During my holiday I usually travel, either with family, with friends or on my own.
I am a rather quiet person and I guess I am more reserved than the majority of people on Couchsurfing.
I am indeed shy but I really like meeting and getting to know new people, their lives, their languages, their city, their experiences and passions...
I am not the kind who fills every waking minute with an activity and I don´t really go out at night.
This added to my doing embroidery, singing in a classical choir and drinking tea when I do go out earned me the nickname of "grandma".
However I don´t sit around knitting at home every week-end. I also hike, visit museums or galleries, go to concerts and traditional music festivals and such.
I am looking forward to meeting the world ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As host:
I have had several guest musicians stay in my appartment and I enjoyed getting to know them, what they liked, how they lived... So I thought I could get to know some more interesting people via couchsurfing.
Furthermore I really like the region I live in (the Nahe Valley in Rhineland) and I would like to show it to more people - and maybe see and do things I would´nt have done on my own.
And finally it would give me an opportunity to practice english or maybe learn some other languages
As a guest:
Once again what I see in Couchsurfing is the opportunity to meet all kinds of people. And on top of that locals who can recommend sights, activities and restaurants in places that are new to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was a child I was lucky enough to sing choir in a ballet.
We got to see the life of the opera: the costume making, the singers and dancers rehearsing, the decors moving,... this is a great memory.
