About Me

I'm 19 and a huge traveler. I love karaoke and gelato and lava cake. I love to travel and have the aspiration to visit every country in the world! I'm currently a student at University of San Francisco studying economics and finance with a minor in music! I enjoy eating out, drinking, baking, and of course.. Live music. I'm extremely extroverted and am huge on getting to know new people and new cultures!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I indulge with locals and meet new people! I recently discovered CS and am already loving how many events and people I have met through it. I love to hear other people's travels and give back to make the best of my experience. I love getting to meet new people and experience the true identity of the culture. I feel that each country and city has its own ethos appeal, and I want to find that through making memories with others.

Music, Movies, and Books

Classic rock to classical music. I love jazz and deep house if I'm going out. All music is emotion.
Specifically; Led Zeppelin, Doobie Brothers, CCR, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Etta James, E. Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Sarah Vaughn, Dvorak, Brahms, Tschikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Etc... The list can go for years!!!

Books- I'm a huge reader and love my economic non fictions hahaha. Such as BLINK by Malcolm Gladwell.. He's my favorite writer, speaker, and journalist. He writes for the New Yorker, just amazing.

Movies- I'm not a huge filmy geek but am very open to anything. I love the classics! Taxi Driver, Midnight Cowboy, Dog Day Afternoon, Fight Club, Pretty Woman!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Raised 25K for a tribe in Liberia and built a school, play court, and donated pigs through the Courts for Kids program.

I've been playing stand up bass for 10 years, which means carrying that huge thing for a decade.. I consider that quite an accomplishment.

Teach, Learn, Share

Unfortunately, I am not bilingual. But I understand Vietnamese almost fluently. Id love to learn some new linguo!

I feel that I have learned a lot of lessons throughout my life of self control and self respect. I have always been the person everyone goes to for a pair of ears or advice. And I am more than happy and willing to share those same attributes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A place to stay when they come to San Francisco! Some food when I get food, a beer too if ya want! Any help with cleaning around the house, taking your dog out for a run or walk when you're gone, any toiletries or necessities you need. I'm more than happy to give as much as you need. I know CS isn't easy and it adds up for the guests that you host, I want to make it a great experience for everyone!
