Kia ora koutou! I'm Camille. I'm from New Zealand but for this semester I'm studying and living in a co-op at Berkeley and traveling around the US.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new to Couchsurfing, but I love the idea of it. I really do believe that to understand a place you have to see it through the eyes of people who love it, and this is a great way to do that! Meeting new people is such a joy and I'm looking forward to offering my couch to travelers when I get home.

Music: indie, pop, jazz, reggae. I've seen Beyonce and Best Coast live while I've been here.

Movies: Anything Linklater does, Atonement, Beginners, Juno. TV-wise, I've been watching a lot of Parks and Rec and Gilmore Girls lately.

Books: Americanah, anything by Roxane Gay, Toni Morrison, Ian McEwan etc.

Volunteered at a primary school in rural Samoa.
