About Me

After my graduation in Philosophy at the university of Ghent (Belgium) I pursued a master in urban studies at the university of Rennes in France.

At the moment I'm working part time at an elementary school and I am doing an internship at a dance company where I assist at dance workshops that take place in care institutions.

I consider myself a sociable and easygoing person. Polite, cheerful and try to be open-minded. I have lots of stories to tell, but also like listening to yours. Always up for an adventure and love to meet new people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm convinced that it is the best way to travel and to meet new people

Interests

Currently I spend my free time by taking lots of dance courses. I'm particularly interested in contemporary dance and dance improvisation, but on occasions I find myself dancing salsa and cumbia with my Latin-American friends and roommates.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all movies made by Hitchcock, Werner Herzog, David Lynch, Harmony Korine,

I am also quite fond of the series Mad Men and Arrested development.

My favorite autours are Paul Auster (Moon palace, Tombouctou), Dostoïevski (crime and punishment, le joueur), Calvino ( invisible cities), Topor

I really do enjoy listening to all sorts of music. I like several Belgian bands like STUFF or Dans Dans, but also more tropical ones (Los destellos, Hector Lavoe, Guanaco y su Combo) and sometimes listening to J.J. Cale, Madonna or even Iron Maiden can make my day!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think moving to France was a quite impulsive thing to do, but I certainly do not regret it.

Teach, Learn, Share

In general I try to learn and listen to the advice of my friends as much as I can.

What I Can Share with Hosts
