ABOUT ME

I hale from a small town nestled in the mountains. A truly unique town that has opened my mind in many ways. I was strongly bitten by the traveling bug as a child; something for which I am in constant gratitude. I feel that meeting new people, learning about new cultures, and seeing other peoples realities are the greatest ways to grow and flourish as a global citizen.
I am a dance fanatic; turn any music on and I am happy. The fine arts have always played a large role in my life, as have the outdoors.
I have incredibly thick hair... and incredibly small hands.
Reading brings me tremendous joy, as does singing, acting, hiking, kayaking, and skiing.
I am a struggling vegetarian and a mild over-achiever. I love food and nutrition.

Would love to meet people and explore Vancouver with them (I'm new too!) Unfortunately i'm living on residence and can't host anyone right now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had an overwhelmingly fabulous time couchsurfing in Europe, so many incredible people inhabit this planet! The degree to which it heightened my experience was well.... huge. Can't wait to be able to host people!

music: I feel that every genre has something to offer. That said, I tend to like a random assortment of artists including mumford and sons, florence and the machine, moby, james brown, coco rosie, the weepies, the xx, tracy chapman, k'naan, citizen cope, adham shaikh, carla bruni, fred pelrin, morcheeba, the tallest man on earth, Lisa Hannigan, Fat Freddys Drop, La Roux, Laura Marling, Zaz, Oren Lavie, Iron and Wine, Beirut, Bonobo, Bon Iver, Adele, and many, many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ice climbing in the rocky mountains...surfing in the Pacific...growing ridiculously thick and long hair...

I have a great love of languages and would very much like to help others expand their french and english skills, I would be thrilled to have a spanish lesson!
