About Me

CURRENT MISSION

The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes. (Marcel Proust)

ABOUT ME

Montreal student in international politics who loves travelling. Latin America lover, I've been backpacking four summers in a row in Central America. I speak both official languages of Canada (French and English), but I also speak Spanish and I started learning Arabic last summer. I really like to meet new people. I love to go out, to chill with friends. I also love to cook. Travel is really one of my passion: that's why I tried to combined it with my study and did a student exchange in Granada in Spain last year, and traveled through Europe and Morocco. I'm now starting a master in international politics here in Montreal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people. I feel it's such a good way to know a city outside the usual ''Lonely Planet'' track. I tried it for the first time in 2013 in Guatemala and it was a great way to meet people and know the sights of the place.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I'm really into olk, indie rock, 1970s rock OR downtempo and soft electro. It really depends on the occasion.

Movies: I'm a big Quentin Tarantino fan (Kill Bill 2 and Pulp Fiction are my favorite movies)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Surfing in El Salvador with sharks. I've never been so afraid but alive at the same time.

I also held an alligator in Louisiana.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach French and how to cook our famous poutine (the typical meal of Québec, the french part of Canada, it is absolutely amazing).

I wanna learn your city and it's hidden spots

I wanna share culture

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can definitely share typical quebec meals, as well as some good beers. I also love to chat, to talk about life. I finished my degree in political science so I like to talk about what's going on in your country. I'm really open minded and wanna share my culture and know about yours.

Countries I’ve Visited

Costa Rica, Czech Republic, El Salvador, France, Germany, Guatemala, Mexico, Morocco, Nicaragua, Portugal, Spain, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
