About Me

I am Belgian on my father side and Italian on my mother side. I grew up in Belgium and moved to Italy over 5 years ago and live with my boyfriend Julian in our beloved neighbourhood called Pigneto. I love simple life pleasure as good food, having a drink with friends after work, going to the beach, hiking, discovering new towns near my city, picnicking, organizing trips, having breakfast out on weekends,...in other words making the best out of my routine and wherever place I live, as I figured out that wherever I live I manage to make it special for myself.

I feel as a world citizen since I moved to Italy, started to work for the UN where I made amazing friends from all over the world and also hosting and being hosted through Couchsurfing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am very happy to share a piece of the "Dolce Vita Romana" with travelers.
When I am not able to travel myself, having guests from foreign countries, cities or culture makes me travel in a different way !

We are always pleased to enjoy a meal with our guests (cooking all together at our place or going out) and tour the city center when we are available or at least walk around our lovely neighbourhood (the best gelato is, of course, nearby our house). We appreciate very much when our couchsurfers are motivated to join us to an event outside the center, a day at the beach, a new restaurant we wanted to try...or just a nice evening chatting all night at our place. The few times we were guests ourselves through couchsurfing was also an amazing experience and we wish to have this chance again.
