About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel the world and the seven seas

ABOUT US

Camille works in an NGO in Paris, France. She has lived on 4 different continents, and finds the best part of traveling is the family of strangers that you build, and eating the weirdest things available!

Joseph works in a Parisian art gallery. He's really into music (lots of stuff Camille hasn't ever heard about - although we both agree on 80's hard rock) and traveling of course.

We both like an adventure, and just walking around new cities taking in the architecture, the people, the smells, and everything that makes a place unique. We're laid-back, easy going and respectful of our hosts/guests.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since we've been back in Paris, we've hosted quite a few people!

During Joseph's year abroad in Grenada, he hosted a few couchsurfers, americans, germans etc. They had a great time visiting the city and hanging out together.

We travelled together in California and discovered LA and San Fransisco through couchsurfing.

Camille was hosted by some amazing people in China and Thailand.

Interests

Novels, comic books, movies, tv shows, painting, all kinds of art although we tend to prefer the classics: its the old fashioned Europeans in us ;).

Joseph is a lot into sports - as in he can talk about it - and did martial arts for quite a while. Camille enjoys sports (rugby, boxing and skiing) but really prefers being a couch potato.

We're counting on meeting a lot of fun new people, which is the benefit of CS!

Music, Movies, and Books

The Godfather, Mission, Old boy
Voyage au bout de la nuit, Les trois mousquetaires, Les aventures de Tintin.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camille rode a 24h train from Beijing to Shanghai, so full that people had to climb in through the windows to get in.

She drank spirit with a snake in it in Vietnam.

She experienced the mirages on the great Salinas of Salta in Northern Argentina.

Joseph and Camille saw the world's highest trees in Sequoia park, CA.

Camille is trying to think of an amazing thing that happened to Joseph because she is writing up the profile right now but can't think of anything because its late and she's a bit tired.

Joseph went to Scotland... and it didn't rain! Now that's pretty amazing if you ask me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We'd love to cook you dinner! Joseph is a professional cook and Camille eats everything... So we're a good pair! We can help with practicing English, French or Spanish.
