About Me

ABOUT ME

Easy-going, very curious, interested in learning new skills, I like to participate in creative projects and to laugh a lot!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love stories of any kind...Meeting people is the main reason why I travel, and getting to know locals, being welcomed in their life is a great way to discover a place and to know really interesting people that remind me to stay forever adventurous!

Interests

Staying up late, reading and writing, playing the piano, cooking with friends, learn new skills, sharing experience and ideas with people, going to live shows, swimming, using public transportation, biking, funny moments, and more.

Music, Movies, and Books

My "important books" are comical and serious, poetic, political, simple and exhaustive: Audre Lorde, James Baldwin, Kafka, Lispector, Simone Weil, Brecht, Büchner, Calderón de la Barca, Woolf, Machado de Assis, Barthes, Bachmann, Woolf.

Music... Quebec has a good pool of amazing bands: Ouri (she is GREAT),Pierre Kwenders, Karkwa, Alaclair Ensemble, Chilly Gonzales, to name a few. I like when genres mix, and am really curious. Nick Drake, FKA Twigs, Alice Coltrane, Kurt Vile, Blood Orange, Cesaria Evora, The Internet, Arthur Verocai, Solange, D'Angelo, BadBadNotGood, and traditional music of around the world are examples of music I like.

As for movies, anything I can't tell the ending from the start is a good start!
