About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Young graduate, been working for a year and a half now
Recently moved to Massy, a shorter train/plane ride from my family, and closer to my friends and my favorite activity : dancing :)
ABOUT ME
I'm a young graduate in agronomy and plant breeding. Between the 2d and 3d year of my studies I did a gap year. I spent 5 months in Scotland in autumn/winter 2013/2014 and found it awesome. Then I went back to France for another internship in Poitiers. I finished the last semester of my studies in Paris and then I moved to Clermont Ferrand for my end-of-studies internship. As you can see I moved a lot during my studies!
I had the chance to travel a lot with my parents when I was younger and it gave me a great taste for traveling and discoveries. I wish I'll always have the time for such things!
I am curious and outgoing, sometimes too chatty but that's me I suppose ;)
PHILOSOPHY
Have goals, do what you're interested in, always try to find time for the people and the things you love
What matters is not the destination, it's the journey.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I think it's a great experience either to host a traveler or to discover a place from the inside by meeting the local people! Couchsurfing gives people the occasion to meet other people they would never meet through their social / working background and this is a great chance.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hosted my 1st couchsurfer when I was in Poitiers, he was going to Scotland so we talked about this region. I also welcomed for dinner two guys from Poland who were traveling Europe by bike. I couldn't host them at the time but I really enjoyed the little time we could share. So far I haven't surfed yet but it's a matter of time!
Interests
I have traveled a lot and want to travel more. I'm attracted by English-speaking countries and Northern countries (I've got some family in Denmark)
I like the wilderness but also the cities, small or big.I love my hometown Nantes, even though I don't live there anymore.
I love dancing, this really became a part of my life. I dance West Coast Swing, I'm totally addicted to it! Going to dance events is a great way to travel and meet new people. This past year I danced in 5 new countries.. and i'd like to keep up this pace!
When I'm home I love cooking, reading, watching series and movies...
I used to listen to rock music only, and dancing broadened my music tastes. I tried to learn how to play the electric guitar but this wasn't a great success!
I like to try and cook new recipes, just like when I travel i have to taste the food of the country!

Music, Movies, and Books
Books : fantasy (I'm a big fan of Robin Hobb), contemporary novels (esp American authors) but not romance, neither crime or sci-fi ;)
Music : Electro, RnB, Country, rock and pop-punk...
Movies : I like indie movies, I enjoy a good comedy, but I'm not a good romantic comedy watcher ;) I don't like horror or thrillers movies
Series : the old Game of Thrones, How i met..., The Big Bang Theory, etc, but I also like very much British comedy series
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Buying a plane ticket to go to Israel last minute, to visit a friend I had met in Budapest. Felt totally crazy at the moment but worth every bit of it!
I baked my bread like a Viking in Denmark, slept in a tent surrounded by elephants in Tanzania, I saw Uluru and Sydney's Opera, approached wild killer whales close enough to be able to touch them, I cycled in all weathers in Scotland, I cooked my own haggis ;)
Teach, Learn, Share
Share my travel experience, teach and learn cooking, share my passion for dancing...
I like learning new things, so I tried to learn Hebrew. It's so interesting and challenging!
