ABOUT ME

Passionate, kind, trustworthy, fanciful (almost silly sometimes), generous, big-hearted, honest, loyal, curious and open-minded, self-reassessment&quick self-change capable, serious, with a sense of humour, ... : those are the words my friends use to describe me... to be sure of it, let's meet !

PHILOSOPHY

A base of rationalism (Descartes, Spinoza) plus some bits of Kierkegaard, Freud,...., christian theology (St Thomas D'aquin, St Augustin) and a sort of sophism.
....
OK that's really messy ! Let's say then that I prefer an everyday life philosophy that guides me to books instead of the opposite.
PS : I really like to debate even of serious topics but always without any stake : it's much more fun !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This summer (09) I travelled a lot in France. I have spent about 20 nights in some hotels and missed my teaching school auditions, then I have couchsurfed a night and successfully passed one of the most important....it speaks by itself !

Music, Movies, and Books

I like french art & essay cinema ( Truffaut, Dercourt, Audiard), and french or American comedy even romantic or a bit soapy (depends of the actress[es]). I'm still open to and curious about everything else i.e. Asian films.
I listen and practice all sorts of music but mainly classical (which includes everything from Gregorian chant to contemporary music), jazz, pop (especially french one from 30's to 80's), world, salsa/timba....
I read pedagogy, psychology, philosophy and theology books (see above among others).
To relax a little bit, I open for instance chick lit (in English) or french literature (Mme de Lafayette, Stendhal, Laclos, Maupassant, ...)
Oh, and I like very much opera, operetta, classical and modern theatre, painting (french impressionism for instance), ballet...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen tooo many amazing things to mention them.
However there is a place where I can do almost anything : stage. When I'm on it I can sometimes do crazy things I couldn't do in real life... those who have already seen me on a stage understand what I say.

I'm ready to learn many things. [I think we'll never stop learning as soon as we'll be alive]
I can teach you what I know if you want me to.
So I'm very open to sharing !
