Hello world,

What to say about me ? I'm Chinese born Canadian (from Montreal) and I love to EAT. I like to have deep and meaningful conversations with people. I keep learning everyday and enjoy life as much as possible. I have been living my dreams and I want to keep that momentum of thinking that everything is possible. I'm a curious person and like to travel through people's stories. I can summarise my passions in 3 words : biomimicry, water and salsa.

The biomimicry approach truly inspires me. Biomimicry is an approach to innovation that seeks sustainable solutions to human challenges by emulating nature's time-tested patterns and strategies. For non-scientific people, biomimcry helps to find solutions inspired by nature. It is a different way of thinking and looking at nature as a teacher and not only a resource. For me, biomimicry goes beyond the definition of sustainability.

Water water water... I love living in a city surrounded by water. That's why I like The Netherlands so much! I have been working in the water sector and trying to understand its challenges and opportunities. Career-wise, this is what I like to do. I will be doing my master in water management this year and I am really excited !

Finally, I am addicted to salsa dancing and bachata, merengue, kizomba. I can dance day and night without taking a break haha. I would like to become a professional salsa dancer with my environmental engineering background. I want to connect arts and sciences and make it accessible to everyone.

I don't have a religion, but I believe in humanity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why not ? I love meeting new people and sharing passions. I am very new in the couchsurfing community. I think that couchsurfing can allow you to open up your mind and perspective of this world and embrace culture differences. And of course, it is much more fun to travel and visit a city with a good buddy !
