ABOUT ME

Hi there! My name's Camille, I'm studying in France and trying to travel as much as possible to see and learn everything I can. I love new places almost as much as I love new people.

I'm bilingual, as I have a double nationality (American and French), which I absolutely love. Although I've spent almost my whole life living in the US, living in France for the past three years has solidified my love of traveling and trying new things. Now that I'm here I have to see as much of this continent as possible!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've only had great experiences couchsurfing (with friends and acquaintances, though not yet through this site). It's an amazing way to get to know a city and to make friends.
Unfortunately my current living situation makes it difficult to host, but I would love to be a host someday!

Interests

I love reading, watching movies, music ( I especially love singing), and all things crafty (knitting, sewing, ect).

I can be a bit of a homebody sometimes (hello netflix!) , and other times I love nothing more than going out- I think balance is key!

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is completely sporadic:I love classic rock, blues, alternative, rock, punk, ect... but really I'll listen to anything once!

I'm a huge reader, but some of my all time favorites are The Once and Future King, The Pillars of the Earth, Pride and Prejudice, and 1984.

I've loved more movies than I could ever list, and am constantly looking for more suggestions. I definitely have a soft spot for bad sic-fi.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love meeting people with a passion. I want to learn as much as I can; even if I don't find a topic particularly interesting, I can listen to someone who is passionate about a subject talk for hours. I love collecting random little facts about the world and sharing them whenever I get a chance.

Currently I teach english to both adults and children, which has made me realize how fun teaching can be!
