About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Living life in leaps of faith
ABOUT ME
I grew up and lived in Southern California for 22 years. To pursue graduate studies, I moved to Boston in 2006 and stayed to work in non-profit until 2008. I've since worked as a preschool teacher, yoga instructor, and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Yoga is a big part of my life; I bring a yoga mat with me wherever I travel and I try to practice as much as I can both on and off of my mat. From it, I continue to explore the physical, spiritual, and emotional aspects of my being, while practicing compassion, non-violence, acceptance, and simple love. I'm a believer in the universal law of attraction and have even experienced its manifestations through Couchsurfing!
I want to see the world, or at least as much of it as I can while I am a part of it. I love to meet people while traveling; through sharing stories and life experiences with others, it is remarkable to see how people from such different walks of life can find a way to relate to one another.
PHILOSOPHY
Education is central to my personal philosophy. I love to learn, about anything and everything. Whether in school or on the street, there's always a lesson that can be taken away from any situation. Knowledge conquers ignorance, and helps us to understand one another so that we can all coexist on this earth in peace. There's no limit to what you can learn, or any restrictions on the manner in which you choose to learn.
