I think this is a really great way to get to know new people and new places and see another side of the local culture. For me, Couchsurfing is about experiences and connecting with people and places in a different level.

books: my favorites are russian and brazilian literature in general. I also like fantasy/mistery books, novels about universal themes and Regionalism/local color fiction. Reading is a big passion for me!
music: I listen to anything (and really like what makes me dance!).
movies: don't know my favorite one, but I love to watch movies. When it comes to tv series, I'm pretty much an addict!
