About Me

I'm an easy going traveler from Colombia. Love going out with my friends, meeting new people, talking and sharing old stories. I try to enjoy life as best as I can and have fun. I've been to many countries around the world so I'm really open minded and respectful to everyone.

Professionally, I'm a journalist. I have worked for some media outlets in the past and also have experience working in public relations as I love communications. I'm a big fan of sports, music and history, that's why I make research before traveling to certain places so I can have the best experience in terms of its culture. I kinda like politics and social media too.

I did my internship at one of the most important media companies in Colombia as it helped me grow as a professional and person. I´ve lived in my hometown Bogota for most of my life and felt quite comfortable there but I felt like I needed something different and started going to different places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wanna experience different cultures, have conversations and of course make new friends all around the world. I've hosted a lot of travelers in Bogota and learnt a lot from them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling across Southeast Asia for three months!

Riding a highspeed jetsky in the Caribbean. I was too nervous at first as I'd never done that before but then I found it really fun. Great experience!!

Also, I attended a Formula 1 TV broadcast for all Latin America at the Fox Sports studios in Argentina and one of the broadcasters mentioned my name on air and fortunately, at least one friend of mine heard it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can have good conversations about our local cultures. I can share my past travel experiences and we can also practice Spanish, English or even Portuguese (I'm still learning) 😁
