About Me

Was born and raised in a small town north of Chile. 7 years ago I moved to Viña del Mar to study in college and now I work and live here. English-Spanish translator, currently working as a tour guide in an organic vineyard located on the way between Santiago and Valparaíso. Wine connoisseur wannabe. I would like to meet different cultures, people and experiences from all over the world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I want to help and know people from overseas so they can meet, in the best way possible, this beautiful country named Chile! and, if possible, to be welcomed when I start to travel abroad.

Interests

I like to share stories, to have a glass of wine, to laugh and to learn. If you can combine those 4 at once, be my guest. I like sports but especially soccer, jogging can be entertained but not my passion. Listening music will always be a good option. I also like nature, doing outdoor activities; beach, forest, countryside, desert, like them all. I say again, I really like wine.

Music, Movies, and Books

Depends on the mood, on the occasion, but for a party I like reggaeton, dancehall, electro and house.
Rock, punk rock, ska punk, reggae.
Inception, Interstellar, Gladiator, 300.
Series Breaking Bad, Prison Break, Skins, TWD, GOT.
100 Years of Solitude, E. Allan Poe, Fahrenheit 451, The Lord of the Rings.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've walked in the driest desert on the Earth for 18 hours like four times in Atacama desert, northern Chile. Survived 4 earthquakes, so far.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach, learn and share thoughts, feelings and IDEAS.

I can teach you about Chile, about the Latin culture and of course I'm able to help you learn Spanish. I could teach you a little bit about Chilean wine.
I am open to learn about just everything.
I believe living well is mostly based on sharing things, so why not sharing my house, a meal, guidance, a glass of wine, a nice time =)

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, Peru
