I am a wannabe vegetarian and computer science engineer who plays some guitar and likes to travel, read, workout and play videogames.

My girlfriend and I, we work in a company called education.city (ciudadeducativa.com) where we provide educational and managing services to schools in Latin America. I live with my girlfriend near our workplace and we are planning to move to Brasil in the short term and be there as volunteers for a while, but still our house in Colombia will be available to couchsurfers.

Wherever we go, we can continue working remotely for our company in Colombia, so we have this plan to live half a year in a different country starting 2018.

I love what I do, I have been working with education for about 14 years and my goal is to continue working as a freelance or remote engineer while traveling around the world.

I have lived in Medellín, but now I live in Marinilla, about 45 kilometers from there.

Because I love the idea! To share your space is a great idea! In my opinion, if I have the possibility to provide accommodation for others and during the process meet new people, help them, share knowledge, tips and widen your network, that is a win/win.

Secondly, I like to travel abroad and when possible, to have a deep immersion into the local culture. It is much more fulfilling to experience other countries or towns the way the people actually live it, and not just the way the hotel shows you.

Movies I like: That's not easy to tell in a list: Some hollywood productions as well as childish animated or almost-unknown movies like Matrix, Lord of the Rings, Croocs, The Shawshank Redemption, Forrest Gump, Inside Out, The Green Mile. You better ask me personally.

To have had the blessing of visiting the Great Coral Reef in Australia was one of those incredible things, but being absolutely alone in Machu Pichu at night when every tourist had already left the place was unreal.
