About Me
About Me:
Hi! Nice to meet you! I’m a travel enthusiast who dreams of exploring the world and meeting amazing people along the way.
In my free time, I take Norwegian classes, play basketball, or write. I also love football, and I enjoy heading out to grab a coffee or a beer. Spending time in nature is another passion of mine—I love hiking, exploring forests, and being surrounded by beautiful landscapes.
I can be a bit shy at first, but once I get to know people, I open up and become more outgoing. I’m naturally curious, so I love asking questions—not because I’m nosy, but because I genuinely enjoy learning about different cultures, traditions, and ways of life. Oh, and I love food! Trying new dishes from around the world is one of my favorite things to do.
I’m originally from Colombia, where I earned an undergraduate degree in engineering. Right now, I’m living in Bergen, Norway, studying for my Master’s in System Dynamics.
I can’t wait to get to know you and learn from your experiences too! 😊
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love experiencing new things! As a full-time student who occasionally takes on part-time jobs, I travel whenever I get the chance.
The main reason I’m here is for social and cultural exchange. I genuinely enjoy meeting new people, learning from their experiences, and sharing mine as well.
Some of my friends are active Couchsurfing members, and they always talk about how amazing the community is. I’ve even traveled with them a couple of times, and it inspired me to join and be part of this incredible network of people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One chilly November morning, a friend and I were talking and spontaneously decided to head out. We drove about 20 minutes to a nearby fjord. It was 5 a.m., completely dark, and freezing cold—but we decided to just go for it and jumped straight into the fjord! It was such an exhilarating and unforgettable experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I Can Teach:
I can teach you some Spanish and how to cook delicious Colombian dishes. I can also introduce you to System Dynamics (and yes, I know you’re probably thinking, what is that? :') )
I Can Learn:
I’m eager to learn so many things—your culture, traditions, language, and anything else you’d like to share with me. I’m open and excited to soak up all the knowledge you have to offer!
I Can Share:
I’d love to share a little bit of my culture with you, whether it’s through stories, food, or just meaningful conversations.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A taste of Colombia! I can cook you delicious arepas, teach you some Spanish slang, and share stories that’ll make you want to visit—all paired with a cup of Colombian coffee or a cold beer. Cheers! 🍻☕
