Overview
About Me
I really enjoy meeting other travelers, especially from different cultures. I speak English (of course) and some French. I enjoy having conversations, sharing stories, and sharing food with people are things I really enjoy doing when traveling.
I am an avid skier, biker, and outdoorsman.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have stayed with a few folks through this website, all fantastic experiences. I've done couchsurfing in Denmark, the Netherlands, Hawaii, Utah, California, and Oregon. I've stayed on couches, beds, air mattresses, and once in a tipi. I have a lot of gratitude for this great community, and look forward to giving back.
Interests
I have had so many hobbies in my life that I rarely have time for anymore - painting, gardening, journaling, blogging about stories I find funny, brewing beer, making wine, drum circles, Capoeira Angola, meditation - to name a few. In a previous life I dug trails, mentored at-risk youth, led backpacking trips, volunteered for ski patrol, and taught preschool. Lately, I've been doing a lot of biking. If I was closer to the mountains I'd probably spend a lot of my time skiing too.
