Overview
About Me
Hi, my name's Cam. I'm 23. I grew up in the United States, but I was born in England and I'm currently hanging out in central Scotland, working in a coffee shop and trying to live as authentically as I currently know how.
I'm also really big on writing, photography, and community arts projects. I opened a public darkroom with my pals once, which was pretty cool!
I guess that when I'm older, I'd love to be a "proper writer"; but for now, I'm really down to hang around, work on improving my writing and photography, collaborate with some folks, and expand my world view. I'm in no particular hurry.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Let's be real, what attracted me here in the first place was my incredibly frugal personality. What kept me here was the discovery of a better travelling experience. There are some good folks in these cities we visit, and I want to meet those who make those places.
I'm currently in the process of moving out, so can't host at the moment, but soon!
Interests
Writing, of course! And the arts, particularly photography and illustration. I'm something of an audiophile and frequent gig-goer, but I'm terrible at making music myself. I also really love books (reading them, collecting them, staring at them longingly in bookshops), history & politics, languages (je peux parler français... mal!), tattoos, and the great outdoors. I also spend an inordinate amount of time wandering around on my bicycle.
