Hi there! We're Can and Aysu – two friends from Istanbul currently living in Vienna as Erasmus students. 🌍🇪🇺✨

I'm Can, 21, studying Computer Engineering for my bachelor’s degree. Aysu is 25 and pursuing her master’s in Biomedical Engineering. We met in October in the dormitory and instantly clicked, now we’re like family. Since then, we’ve been exploring Europe together and dreaming of discovering every corner of the world, one adventure at a time.

We love meeting new people, sharing stories, and learning about different cultures. For us, travel isn’t just about places – it’s about the people we meet along the way and the memories we create together. Couchsurfing feels like the perfect way to experience that!

We both have a wide taste in music from indie and jazz to Turkish rock and lo-fi beats while studying.
Can's favorite music is Counting Stars by One Republic. Aysu's favorite music No More Blues by Dekel 🪗🎵.
When it comes to movies, we enjoy everything from meaningful dramas to feel-good comedies but we would say our favorite movie is Before Sunset.
For books 📚, Can enjoys sci-fi and philosophy (like Animal Farm by Orwell), while Aysu loves novels about human nature, psychology, and memoirs (like When Nietzche Wept by Irvin D Yalom).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moving to Vienna through Erasmus has been one of the most amazing decisions we've made. 🇦🇹❤️
Leaving our home city, Istanbul, to live in a new country, meet people from all around the world, and step out of our comfort zones, it changed how we see life, and ourselves.
