ABOUT ME

I have always known I wanted to live in England, but I had so many reasons why this dream was silly. A few years ago I realized: what the heck is the point of living your life if you're not following your dreams? So, seven months later I was in London with no job, no plan and a whole lot of trust.I've been here over two years now and I love it! (Ok, at first it was terrifying, but only for a couple of months.) now, I live in central London with a great flatmate and have a job in a company that let's me coach and play drama games with adults all day. I feel pretty blessed.I also do telephone career coaching with people all over the world and do speech writing for fun. I really, really love hummus. Yep, I think that about covers it.I find it so interesting meeting other CSers and hearing all about where their dreams have or will take them.

PHILOSOPHY

Whenever I meet a new person I go in with the belief that they are an amazing, sparking, divine being; I just have to invite them to show this to me. It's great what you see when you dare someone to show you how brilliant they truly are.

If we all lived life as though we had already had two drinks, we would be more outgoing, honest, brave, and good looking!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't host unfortunately bc I live in a small flat and my landlord/flatmate is not cool with me hosting surfers here. I do take visitors out to explore London though. Don't expect me to take you to see Big Ben though, we'll go somewhere cool.I also notice that I have been helping out new surfers figure out how to navigate the CS system and how to make sure they CSing is a safe experience for them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed all around England when I first arrived here a couple of years ago and since then, I have surfed around Italy and to New York.Forget churches and buildings, I travel to meet sincere, hilarious, and worldly people. CSing reinforces my belief that what you look for and focus on in the world is exactly what you will get. With CSing, I've expected to meet safe, genuine, and interesting people, and I have met that and even more!I feel like you can get to know a CSer in two days faster than you can know people you work with for years.What would travelling be without couch surfing? It's pretty hard to imagine now!

Interests

Personal development, helping people with career changing decisions and helping them identify their passions and life purpose, dancing, Coldplay, Arcade Fire, travelling, dark chocolate, wine, live jazz, very small dogs, and cobble stone streets.
