ABOUT ME

Currently I am living in Abbotsford,BC. The beautiful British Columbia because it truly is beautiful! I am in school full-time!!! My education keeps me very busy. I have not done any travelling outside of Canada in about 5 years, therefore I would love to host people so that I can hear all their wonderful travelling stories. Perhaps it will encourage me to get out there and travel some more! I have done quite a bit of travelling in Europe and lived in the Netherlands for a year. How I miss it very much!

PHILOSOPHY

Keeping yourself happy is the most important thing in life. Being spontaneous, can create the best memories. Live life on the edge and think about your well-being but also dont forget about the future. Dont stress about the norm.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to offer help in anyway i can. If its a cup of tea, some advice, a couch, a warm meal...anything! I have been very fortunate to have received so much never ending generousity while i was basically homeless in europe. Therefore i like to give back the same that people have done for me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed in Barcelona, had a great time! Cooked some great meals with my flat mates and drank some delicious Cava.
Crashed in Maastricht for the night during Carnaval, I was soo thankful to get some rest, the flour wasnt very comfortable but i honestly didnt care!
I have also surfed in France a few times.
All around germany, freiburg, dresden, berlin!
And of course i have surfed in my "home town"(its not really my home town...i wish) the hague in the netherlands.

Intereses

Well most of my interests have to do with being raised in a very outdoors province. I could start with the beginning of my life but that would take too long.
I like doing things that involve nature. Snowboarding is probably one of the main things that i like to do, unfortunately you can only do it for about 4 months out of the year. This is why i want to learn wakeboarding in the summer. This summer i think i will try to stand up on a wakeboard.
I like music. I used to play the piano,flute and guitar. Unfortunately i havent had a piano for about 10years and my guitar was stolen so they have become hobbies from the past.
I like people watching...no i am serious! YOu can often find me sitting outside the cafe with a drink watching passerbys.
Reading is also a nice passtime, history books and bioagraphies are my favourite.
Photography is a great passion of mine, I love taking photos and finding new creative ways to capture something.

Algo increíble que he hecho

After taking a 13hour flight and arriving in Holland for the first time and then jumping on the train for the first time ever in my life------> Watching the sun rise on the FLAT horizon...not knowing where i was going or what i was doing next!
