ABOUT ME

I am laid back and like to let things come as they do but can't help trying to plan it out a bit. I'm also spontaneous and crazy. I love to make and eat good healthy vegan food. Support the local food movement! I try to be very environmentally friendly all the time and influence others to do likewise. I'm Energetic and positive and I Love to meet new people and share experiences. A bit extreme sometimes but who isn't? Love to do stuff outdoors like hiking, skiing, camping, having fires, swimming, or even just watching the stars. I spent a year working as an au pair (nanny) in Switzerland and travel at any chance I get.
In 2008 I participated in Katimavik, a youth volunteer program where I lived with a group of Canadian youth in 3 different communities in Canada. I had a wonderful experience creating a rukus across the country and learning about myself. It was like getting 10 years life experience squished into 8 months. This 09summer I worked as lookout observer in Northern Alberta watching for fires. It's like being paid to be on vacation! Best job ever! I love to discover new places and find beauty everywhere I go. My drum is my saviour; I love to play. I am learning guitar and will try to learn new songs from anyone I meet who plays. Enjoy where you are and love what you do. Don't regret anything. Learn something from every experience and everyone you meet.

PHILOSOPHY

Dance like nobody's watching, sing like nobody's listening, love like you've never been hurt and work like you don't need the money. Give and expect nothing in return. If you believe you can do it you can! Stay positive!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Spreading the word about couchsurfing on my travels to people I meet and in everyday life at home and at school. I couchsurfed around Eastern Canada last summer and absolutely fell in love with it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed couches around Eastern Canada. I had nothing but amazing experiences, all with good food, friendly, generous people and great conversations. I've met many people through couchsurfing and can't wait to meet more. Some places it was hard to leave just because I felt so much at home. I've hosted once but my constant moving makes it hard to for me to host. Some fine day...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Europe is amazing. Canada is stunning. Life is beautiful. Utah is like living in a western movie. You can't beat Rome. Laissez-vivre à Québec. Northern Ontario has lots of snow. Newfoundland has rugged beautiful land and friendly, caring people. Saskatchewan is stunning and really is the land of the living skies. Nova Scotia has wonderful people and a sea of opportunities. Northern Alberta is rugged and extreme. LOVE IT! Watch out world, here I come!
