ABOUT ME

I'm a fun loving Canadian, currently living in Dublin, Ireland. My boyfriend Bryan and I have been together for over 8 years now, and are trying to see as much of Europe as possible. I have been in Ireland since August, 2010, and was just given a 5 year visa on the EU family permit, so not sure how long we will stay, but for now we are here to travel and have fun meeting new people. He's from England, and was in Canada with me for 3 years, and I decided it was my turn to work abroad, so brought him along for the ride. We love to meet new people, weather it be travel, parties or even just a coffee.

PHILOSOPHY

We don't really have a personal philosophy. We are open minded and generous people, and we wear our hearts on our sleeves. So we believe you should just live how you want, as long as you don't hurt anyone. A simple jester of kindness has a lasting effect...so pass it on.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Got involved with couchsurfing to meet the locals in all the places we wanted too see. I think when you meet someone that loves their country, you are definitely going to see the best it has too offer. We have hosted and surfed. Also had the best CS christmas party in 2010, and a Canada Day BBQ in July 2011.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well we have had many great experiences. Hosted and surfed, and had a great 2010 Christmas party, and a Canada Day Party in 2011. The best part is creating lasting friendships.

Interests

We love to travel, and meet new people. We have done a fair bit already, but want to see so much more of Europe, and then onto Asia. We love the outdoors, so when we travel, we tend to look for the sites, and less museum type things. But we are still interested in the history of the places we visit. Bryan loves tech stuff, and any kind of gadget. He gets a new phone way too often lol.

Music, Movies, and Books

Well honestly we never read anything. Not that we don't like to read, we just never go out of our way to pick up a book and commit to reading it. We do love movies tho, and go to the cinema's all the time. We tend to watch comedies, and action films...we save the scary ones for at home where I can hide, and Bryan can laugh at me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being in Vancouver and sharing the 2010 olympics with the city, and feeling the insane vibes when we won gold in men's hockey. Niagra Falls was breath taking. Skydiving was insane...free falling from 10,000 feet and touching a cloud. Loved England and all its history, and the London eye was cool. Swimming in crystal clear water in Mexico. Driving thru L.A was nuts,try to get to the airport the day MJ died and the city at a stand still, but got to meet Mickey Mouse :) I hope to see so much more.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well we can't teach you another language other than English, and we can't sing or dance. We also can't cook. We can offer you our friendship, and share what we have experienced so far in life.
