Hello!

My name is Phoebe,

I'm an outgoing, fun-loving and charismatic business student from Canada! I grew up in Victoria but have recently moved to Edmonton, Alberta to attend university.

My Mother was born in the Philippines and my Father was born in Greece..... so, I'm a Canadian Greek-a-Pina.

I'm excited to explore and meet new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Despite coming from a diverse background I haven't had the opportunity to explore the world or my parents' birth places :( I realized it was time to take matters into my own hands.

This year, I took an un-paid internship in Greece to learn more about the history and Culture of my Greek roots. After I finish my internship, I will be travelling parts of Europe before I return to University.

Also- I Think it may open my eyes to other parts of the world, learn about things I wouldn't if just travelling solely as a "tourist".

I think that couch surfing offers a unique experience to meet some really intriguing people. I would love to expand my global network- through friendships- and in the future host my own couch surfers.
