ABOUT ME

Emigrated from our home steel town in Lincolnshire, England to work in a Lake Erie steel mill near Port Dover Ont. from which I recently retired after 27 years.We love Canada and especially our adopted home town although we retain some of our "Brit" traits i.e we probably drink a gallon of tea to 1 cup of coffee and I still consider myself a "bloke" more than a guy.After me wife,my passion is soccer, closely followed by music.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

so far our participation is limited to filling in this stuff and offering couches to fellow members. Began our cs experience in Jan 09 with Curly Sue&family in St.Louis, their warmth and hospitality brushed away any trepidation we may have felt and set the tone for the rest of our trip,at each stop on our way south we encountered the nicest, friendliest most hospitable people you could hope to meet; Cherie (and dogs) in Hot Springs,Glen & Cheryl in Dallas, Trina & Family in San Antonio,fabulous Alex in New Orleans and free wheelin' Claudia in Knoxville. We now look forward to playing host!
