ABOUT ME

I am a music teacher. I chose the profession because I'm interested in what people can achieve when they work together. What's more fun than being in a band?

Being a teacher is also cool, because I get to travel in the summers. I love planning for the next trip! There are SO many places left to go and SO many things left to do!!!

PHILOSOPHY

I prefer "when I..." conversations over "what if..." Want to make a difference? Go out and do it. Want to lead a more exciting life with more fulfilling relationships? Make it happen! I'm doing my best to be the change I want to see in the world.

I'm still getting started. I have attended several local events and have hosted a few guests. I'm looking forward to using the site more!

Intereses

Cooking, Chinese language and culture, being a tourist in my own hometown, volunteering, going to school, daydreaming about my RTW trip.

Lost in Beijing with no money, no translator and no transportation. I found the hotel as my shuttle was packing up to head for the airport.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I cook from scratch, every day. Pre-packaged, processed junk is nowhere near as fulfilling as the basic skills of creating and preparing real food with real ingredients. I'd love to share my reasons and my food with a community interested in learning.
