Overview
About Me
I am a college student going to school for education. I have a strong passion for traveling. I have already studied abroad and one day I plan to teach abroad.
To me traveling is more than just the seeing of sights. It's the learning of culture. I love learning cultures first hand down to the basics. I believe traveling is the best way to learn about the world and people of different nationalities, cultural background, and religions. I want to see as much as I can throughout my life, especially while I am young.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When you stay with a host, it is an opportunity to truly learn about another culture and way of life. The amount of lessons in life that you can learn by immersing yourself in a way of life different form your own is incredible. It truly cannot be replaced by anything else.
Locals also know the best things to do in an area.
I would also love to host people so that they can learn about my culture and way of life. I also want to give back to the world because I believe everyone should have the opportunity to travel. And if they get to see more of the world by spending less on living accommodations, then I feel that I have helped make the world a better place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have done many amazing things, but one thing that is especially noteworthy is my trip to Morocco. When I was there I not only explored the famous Madina and Souks of Marrakech, I also took camels out into the Sahara desert and lived with the Berber people. I learned their way of life. From cooking meals in the sand to making beds out of padding from the saddles of the camels to the song and dance of their people and much more. This experience was definitely one of a lifetime. Very culturally enlightening.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share experiences I've had.
Also, when I lived in Italy I took an in depth cuisine class, so I can teach some Italian cuisine basics.
I also have a large knowledge of wine. I have my 1st level Court of Master Sommelier. I plan to go for the second level soon. So if you want someone to introduce you to some new and amazing wines, I can help you with that.
