HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've met some great folks through CS site and we are up for meeting lots more! We are not able to host in our tiny Oregon home but hope to when we are living on island.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed with a couple different CSers, met/talked with others, and had wonderful experiences on the Big Island.

Intereses

Horses are a deep passion, spending quality time with quality people, hearing others' stories, organic gardening, connecting and networking on many levels, baby scuba diver (tropical only...my partner Michael is a PADI Master Instructor and lived on Kaua`i for almost 20 years), singing to humpbacks, solitude in good measure, laughter alone or in groups in its time, singing in Hawai`ian while learning the language. All things water and ocean, mountain and meadow, fire and ice...the range of experience within my consistently-stretching comfort zone. Michael is interested in aquaponics, organic farming, solar/wind energy generation, and getting back home to Hawai`i.

Don't watch TV at all, watch a wide range of movies though.

The first time I called humpbacks by singing to them changed me forever. Gray whales too. Holding my best friend's grandchild at the moment of birth and knowing that child knew EVERYTHING. Re-membering that I also have known all that is.
