We've been married over 13 years and have had various kinds of adventures. In three words: scrappy, creative, intellectual.

We tend to enjoy quiet activities at home much of the time. Thanks to technology, we can stream videos about climbing mountains instead of doing it ourselves, and we're OK with that. Why are we on Couchsurfing, then? Read on.

Currently, we are living in an apartment complex that is not guest-friendly, so we cannot host. Sad face!

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Mostly, we want to help travelers on their way. We're not huge entertainers, but we like being able to offer people a comfortable space to rest during their journeys. Cam is into the whole "being a good host" thing. It's fun to meet other people and hear their stories, too!

Once in a great while, Cam gets an irresistible urge to go on some kind of quest, and it's good to have Couchsurfing on standby for that.

Centres d'intérêt

Cam: I did a webcomic for a year and a half, and have been trying to make sustainable progress on a comic book for years. I like analyzing all kinds of things. I also tend to pick up hobbies constantly. Trying new things is super fun.

Jerry: Woodworking, Beatsaber, reading.

We have a tradition called "Sportball Sunday" where we watch something on broadcast TV. We're kind of baseball fans? Maybe?

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Cam: Joined a roller derby league as a total couch potato. Five years later, found myself on the ranked team skating at a regional tournament. It was affirming to live out my very own "Rocky" movie.

Jerry: Spending five days driving from Michigan to Oregon in a 14 year old Chevy pickup.

Cam: I love talking about chemistry and biology - I worked as a tutor for a while, so I know how to explain things in a way that's approachable. Do you like fun facts? 'Cause I got 'em.

Jerry: Yikes. In the words of Shelby Carpenter, "I don't know much about anything, but I know a little about practically everything."
