I am new to couchsurf but I heard many amazing stories from my friends and would love to experience it myself. I was born in New York, spent most of my childhood in Malaysia, studied in Singapore and currently in New York for college. I'd been living independently, away from my family since high school and having been exposed to various cultures from the places I'd been to, I'm quite broad-minded and independent.
I generally a pretty relaxed and easygoing person though people describe me as conscientious and warmhearted. I love food, trying all kinds of food and have an insatiable appetite for adventures too! ;) Hope to find some like-minded people who are willing to travel together!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Though I have been a tourist on various occasions, I hope to experience the country and culture from the inside when I travel. From learning a bit of a language to connect with the natives to discovering hidden eateries flocked by locals. Similarly, I would love to host other travelers when I have my own place and offer them a pleasant travel experience of the places I am familiar with. Couchsurfing is a great opportunity which can gives me insight into a culture that would be hard to get when I'm staying at a hotel/hostel.

兴趣

I'm pretty much a stay-at-home (home-loving?)person when I'm not travelling haha. But when I visit new places, I am interested in sightseeing, trying out new sports/activities and of course, trying the local delicacies!

I listen to various genres of music. Mostly K-Pop, mainstream American music, Chinese, Cantonese etc.
I am not a big movie junkie but some of the movies which I enjoyed are The Grand Budapest Hotel, Snowpiercer, Despicable Me series, among others.
