ABOUT ME

A few of the reasons I love to travel :) I love immersing myself in different cultures, experiencing what daily life is like for people around the world. I love listening to different languages and try (usually failing!) to learn as much as I can. I love trying different foods, hearing different kinds of music, watching different styles of dance, seeing different styles of art and architecture, observing different religious influences and talking to, and learning from, people of all types of ages, backgrounds and cultures.

I have moved around quite a lot, usually staying somewhere for around a year or so. I feel life is one long journey of learning and growing, and I do my best to see and learn as much as I can! I have been a waitress in the Netherlands, a student in Indonesia, an English teacher in Turkey, a tour guide around much of Western Australia, and a tourist in a few different countries.. among other things. At the moment I work in a winery in Margaret River. I also love to share knowledge and help others as much as I can! I consider myself a happy, positive, glass-half-full kind of person :)

I've stayed as a guest with couchsurfing hosts in a few different countries, and I have also hosted a number of couchsurfers at my home.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

This is really difficult to answer! Can I change it often? To start with.. watched a humpback whale teach her new-born calf how to swim on a secluded beach in South-West Aus, for about 2 hours from a distance of about 4 meters.. pretty amazing :)
