About Me

I was born and raised just outside of Los Angeles, CA, and I am now studying biochemistry at a liberal arts school in a neighborhood of LA called Eagle Rock. Living in California has given me a strong love for the ocean and desert and a passion for attending live music shows and getting to know the intriguing side of people. I simply love learning new things, whether it fits into the realm of culture, history, art, math, etc., but I have a particular interest in the biological/chemical sciences and hope to pursue a PhD in the field of biochemistry/bioengineering in the near future. I am a pretty easy-going person who loves hearing stories, and have a few of my own to tell, too!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Now that I'm studying abroad in Germany, traveling has become a more frequent pass time of mine; living essentially at the corner between France, Switzerland, and Germany, I've been lucky enough to visit a few of the big European cities. I'm on Couchsurfing because I'd like to have a better chance to meet the locals of the places I'm traveling to and get a true feel for the place; naturally, I'd also like to make new friends from different parts of the world, make some memories with them, and exchange life experiences and personal ideas. I feel that you can always learn something from another person if you spend the time, and Couchsurfing seems to be a good way to do so.
