About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore, Laugh, and Meet lots of New People

ABOUT ME

I am goofy and extroverted, spontaneous, kinda dorky, and always ready to try something new. I enjoy meeting and learning from new people. I am also very easily entertained... I love the simple things in life. There is nothing better than relaxing at the end of the day with a cold beer surrounded by friends and family.
I think that is a sufficient synopsis of myself for this section!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is the ultimate adventure and should be treated as such

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was hosted while I traveled through Europe and had wonderful experiences each time. I would love to host as soon as I become settled into my new place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Absolutely positive. I met so many different people from all over the world- I am hooked!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a lot of different types of music. I love Deathcab for Cutie, The Avett Brothers, The Beatles, Elvis, The Rolling Stones, The Doors, Bob Dylan, Modest Mouse.... the list goes on and on.

I love to read character driven books. One of my favorite authors is John Updike. I am currently trying to catch up on the classics. I also enjoy reading non-fiction - anything from Biology to Philosophy to Political Science.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent three months living out of a tent in Alaska working with waterfowl.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am an expert skipper and frolicker! I am handy (I worked in a scene shop in undergrad building sets for plays). I would love to become fluent in other languages and gain a better understanding of the world through others experiences.
