We are a married couple that has been together for over 45 years. We live in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range in Northern California. We are both California natives, but world travelers. Happy, decent people with a passion to travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

2013 was the first time we tried couchsurfing. It has been a wonderful way to connect with people in other countries. We are very lucky to have meet so many great people.

Interests

Michael is a retired landscaper and loves anything about flying, space, traveling, history and reading. I am a retired antiques dealer/appraiser and I love traveling, cooking, researching and life as a whole.

Yes to all. We owned a book exchange for 9 years.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can not narrow it down to just one. Here are a few: Watching the space shuttle lifting off for space was very cool, the twin towers in New York before 9/11 (we haven't seen the memorial), the Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls, the Millau Bridge crossing the Tarn Valley in France, the Croatian Coastline, the Eiffel Tower in Paris and all of the countries we have visited in the world. Somewhere along the line we need to include a sunset on a beach; any beach, anywhere. The most inspirational are always the people we meet along the way.
