My name is Candy (Yes like the food and no I am not kidding xD) and I am a Canadian student currently studying in France for a year and will be graduating next year from university. I am super chill, clean and respectable (I promise I'm not crazy, just a little weird in the best way possible ;))

I heard that this was the best way to travel, meet people and be more integrated in the culture of the country.

Interests

I love to be busy and am always up to do anything!

On chill days, I enjoy watching TV shows (New Girl, Twin Peaks, Criminal Minds, Shameless, GofT, Flashpoint), movies and going to the park with a nice novel. However, I also love working out (Zumba, Running, Hiking, Swimming), going out with friends to a pub or dancing and I love FOOD! I'm not the best cook but I love trying new things and learning new recipes and baking. In addition, I love anything art/culture related, so concerts, museums, art festivals, markets and travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

To be honest I love any kind of music as long as it has a good beat and melody. From pop, electro and indie to R&B, folk and jazz. If you don't know 8tracks, it is my music guru! Thats where I get all my music :) I love artists like the 1975, Ellie Goulding, Taylor Swift, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran and Of Monsters and Men. However, I also like to dance to really crappy pop music.

For movies, I am a sucker for Romcoms and classics like 10 Things I hate about you, Ferris Buller's Day Off, A Walk to Remember and 500 Days of Summer. I also have no shame in admitting that I love Disney films including Big Hero 6, Monsters Inc, Toy Story, Finding Nemo, and Frozen. And then who doesn't love a good action film like The Avengers, Captain America and Star Trek. I also like any movie related to dance so all the Step Up movies and musicals like Rent.

I really wish I was more of a reader but I really enjoyed Nineteen Eighty Four and recently I have been reading One Day and it is quite hilarious and very relatable.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would have to say skiing down from the top of the Glaciers in the Alpes just until the very bottom while I was still just a debutant.
