ABOUT ME

Moi!
Its my belief that the world is huge, and life is short. Put two together = making use of every opportunity to travel. I've stayed in Florida for 3 months, in Helsinki for 4 months previously. Both experiences and friends I met have made my life that much more wonderful ;)

Loved the fact that I saw much of Eastern Europe during my travels! The culture shock was tremendous but there were so many beautiful corners just waiting to be explored.

I am recently back at this portal after meeting some amazing couchsurfers through a friend! If you're in SG / coming to SG, I'd love to bring you around :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed at Johannes' place in Turku, Finland & Fanny's place in Iceland back in 2010. I haven't been couch surfing or hosting much recently, but I'd love to bring people around SG and show you what it's like to be local :D

Interests

Learning and experiencing new cultures and foods, reading, making friends from all walks of life and understanding the world from their point of view.
I also love knowing about world history (though I have a super bad memory and find it hard to remember all the details).. & of course learning new languages!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going Ice-hole swimming in -25C in Finland! It was such a crazy yet amazing experience!
Europe was also the first time I experienced a change in over 50 deg C.. from -25C in Finland in winter to 33C in Croatia in summer!

Teach, Learn, Share

New language, new cultures and cities (French, Finnish, German, Spanish etc etc etc :D)
I would love going out for a coffee or a drink to exchange ideas and views, or just hanging out and showing you Singapore!
