I was born and raised in the Los Angeles suburbs and love traveling, nature and meeting people. I'm currently living in Pawleys Island, South Carolina and love this little beach town.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a great way meet new friends and have unique experiences—something that a hotel or Airbnb clearly lacks. Even if it's sleeping on the floor or a couch, it's an unparalleled way to see a new city through the eyes of a local.

Also, after meeting so many surfers and hosts as stranger-turned-friend, it's a reminder that this isn't such a big, bad world after all.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While snorkeling in Culebra, Puerto Rico I saw a spotted eagle ray that was probably the size of a car. It was one of the most humbling experiences of my life.
